A brief note onA brief note on facelift surgery procedure

Also known as Rhytidectomy, a face lift is a surgical procedure that is aimed at reducing wrinkles, thus eliminating signs of ageing. The procedure also tightens sagging skin along the cheeks and the skin, giving you a younger looking skin. This procedure is suitable for both men and women, and are popular for both cosmetic and aesthetic reason. Facelift is also a standard procedure in reconstruction surgeries, especially when removal of a tumor or extra growth from the face is involved.

The usual process
The most common method of facelift surgery involves making an incision from the temple and flowing down and behind the ears, before meeting at the other end of the hair line. In case of a sagging jaw line, an incision will be made under the chin to correct this. Once the incisions are made, the skin is lifted and pulled back and the overlapping excess skin is trimmed away.

Once this is done, excess fat is removed, the muscle is tightened and the skin is re-stitched along the cut lines. Once the surgery is completed, the patient is expected to stay in the hospital for at-least a day, so that the doctors can monitor the healing progress and make sure that there are no further complications.

Modern face lifts are performed using keyhole surgeries, where small incisions are made on the skin and the procedure is completed using an endoscope to remove excess fat and offer skin lifts. This reduces chances of scars and also reduces healing time.

Pre surgery preparation
Like all surgeries, a face lift too requires a fair degree of preparation. You need to take all the necessary pre-surgery precautions in order to minimize any chances of complications. You might have to discontinue your medications for a while and also follow a strict diet. At Asian Hair and Skin clinic we offer world class face lift surgeries for our clients. Wipe those wrinkles with fractional laser treatment

Fractional laser treatment is a fast growing non invasive cosmetic treatment that sues fine lasers to correct skin blemishes. Here, the laser is split into multiple segments, which are directed to microscopic skin areas. This treatment method is very different from traditional laser treatment, and is completely safe and non invasive. The results are immediate and striking, allowing you to take corrective action almost immediately.

Unlike the traditional laser treatment, which focuses either entirely on the epidermis (surface skin cells) or the dermal collagen (mid-layer skin, the fractional laser treatment effectively operates on both epidermis and the dermal layers, thus rejuvenating your skin from within and on the surface.

The fractal lasers are traditionally used to treat everything from wrinkles, sun burns, skin pigmentation, acne scars and more. Although this method of treatment is suitable for all parts of the body, it is often used on face, neck, chest and hands. Sometimes fractional laser treatment is combined with other surgical and non invasive treatments for optimal results.

With this treatment, one can easily attack well defined problem areas, and adjust the degree of treatment depending on the intensity of the problem. At Asian Hair and Skin Clinic, we offer the best in class laser treatments in Bangalore. For more information about our services, do visit our website at http://www.asianhairnskinclinic.com/

A brief history of liposuction

Liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures in the world. This relatively simple procedure has a long history that went through multiple iterations and was assisted by technological innovations to reach a point where it is today.

Liposuction was first invented by two Italian gynaecologists, Dr. Georgio Fister and Dr. Arpad Fischer in the year 1976. Their technique of blunt closed liposuction was published in the year 1978. Here the suction cannulas were quite large and sharp, but they were able to offer satisfactory improvements to the patient’s aesthetics.

This innovation became extremely popular in Europe, however, it wasn’t until the 1980’s that liposuction became popular in the USA. However, technicians still used primitive technology that used large suction cannulas, thus limiting the results one could achieve.

This method was greatly improved when Dr. Jeffery Klein developed and studied the uses of tumescent local anaesthesia. He developed small, non-sharp cannulas which reduced blood loss and thus enabled for a much better fat removal.

This technique has been greatly improved since then and it undergoes constant technological improvements, thus ensuring betterment in liposuction. For more information about our liposuction services in Bangalore, do visit our website at www.asianhairnskinclinic.com/liposuction.html

Neck lifts are now less invasive

Do you have rounded jaws? This might be because of the excessive fatty tissues in your jaw that contributes to the lacking definition between your neck and your jaw. This rounded shape can give you a chubby face, thus making you look older than you actually are.  The best way of getting rid of the excess tissues and regaining a well defined jaw is by a procedure called a neck lift.

Neck lift procedures have gotten less invasive these days, thanks to the excellent advancement in medical technologies. Here, a small incision is made underneath the chin, and excess fat is removed via liposuction. Then two more incisions are made behind each ear, which is then used to tighten the platysma muscle, which helps to achieve a tight, firm appearance.

This method is extremely safe and leaves virtually no scars. Smaller incisions mean shorter recovery time and less discomfort as well. With the incisions being made at dedicated locations, it reduces the risk of damaging facial nerves. Ultimately, it offers you natural looking results over longer periods of time.

At Asian Hair and Skin Clinic, we offer exquisite neck lifts and other forms of facial correction procedures that makes your skin look younger and better. For more information about our services, do visit our website at www.asianhairnskinclinic.com

Top 5 Acne Triggers

Acne is one of the most common skin problems in the world today. We have all had harrowing experiences trying to rid our skin of these blemishes. Some of us have won the war, but some of us are still battling it out. In some cases acne breaks out without any warning, and you will be left wondering why such a curse has been put upon you. Here are five common acne triggers. Understanding them will allow you to take precautions in the right regard.
1.      Cosmetics: Using excessive cosmetics or not removing them properly from your skin can lead to clogged pores in your skin, which can lead to severe acne.
2.      Hormones: Hormones known as androgens are typically responsible for acne. These hormones regulate the oil glands in your skin. Over stimulating these glands can lead to dead skin getting stuck in the pores, thus resulting in acne.
3.      Food: Scientists have determined that certain types of food can make acne worse, if not directly cause them. Foods that have a high glycemic index are the culprits. Foods with excessive sugar, dairy based food and other junk food should be avoided in order to arrest acne.
4.      Stress: Stress increases the release of a substance called cortisol, which can aggravate your acne problem. Also, when people are under stress they tend to pick their pimples, which can lead to long term scarring as well.
5.      Medications: A lot of common medication such as anabolic steroids, lithium etc can worse your acne problems.

At Asian Hair and Skin Clinic, our professionals will provide optimal care in order to reduce your acne problems. For more information about our services, do visit our website at www.asianhairnskinclinic.com

How skin tightening works

Skin tightening is a medical procedure that is traditionally used to eliminate wrinkles and other skin imperfections the creep up as you age. There are many skin tightening options available, such as chemical peels, laser treatment, and even surgical procedures such as face lifts, etc
The chemical treatments includes the use of appropriate chemical compounds and solutions that penetrate deep into the skin and even out the wrinkles. This involves a skin preparation prior to the actual chemical facial, where your physician eliminates any bacteria and damaged skin. This also allows the skin to react better with the chemicals.
When using surgical methods such as facelifts, the doctor will get rid of saggingskin and wrinkles using advanced medical procedures. The procedure varies, depending on the intensity, and is dependent on the invasiveness and degree of incision. This being a surgical procedure the patient is expected to have a post operative care for a while before they can resume their regular work.
The most common complications of a surgical skin is bleeding, which requires special care from the doctor and usually results in a hospital stay as well. However, the surgeon always strives to minimize the damage, and ensures a speedy recovery.
At Asian Hair and Sin Clinic, we provide a variety of skin tightening services- both surgical and non invasive. For more information about our services, do visit our website at http://www.asianhairnskinclinic.com/
